Mission
R2C2's mission is to provide unconditional care and support to adolescents and young adults, so they can see bigger possibilities for their lives and are empowered to realize their highest aspirations. We started R2C2 to address the unique needs of our community, and every day, we build relationships, coordinate services, and walk alongside our community's youth to create opportunities for their growth and success.
Vision
R2C2's vision is for a world in which all adolescents and young adults in Roseland and the greater Chicagoland community are able to live longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives. Pushing back against the systemic inequities that entrench poverty and stymie human potential, R2C2 is taking action every day to create the flourishing community we know is possible.
Distinctive Approach
R2C2 is led by people with professional expertise and deep lived experiences supporting youth and families in the local community. Our long-term, holistic, wraparound, relationship-based approach to services is a differentiator, as we meet children and families where they are and help them to navigate a variety of needed services, including access to housing, trauma-informed counseling, economic advancement, legal services, and support for basic needs.
